Inspiration, Creation, Preservation

White Bluffs Quilt Museum is your Tri-Cities Best for 2026

What an honor! As first-time candidates, we polled enough votes to top the ballot! Many thanks to our members and friends for supporting our candidacy.

This recognition will help us raise awareness of our efforts to preserve quilts with Mid-Columbia connections and to encourage regional quilters to develop their expertise and artistry.

Award-Winning Quilts

From September through December, quilters can revisit – and the community can appreciate – the design talent and textile skill captured in be-ribboned quilts on loan from the Museum’s members and friends.

Most have been recognized at the local show mounted by the Tri-City Quilters’ Guild every spring. Entries there are neither juried nor “judged” in a technical sense. Attendees use their own judgment for Viewers’ Choice awards – first, second, third, and honorable mention. Subjective judgments also govern the annual Theme and President’s awards. Annual Guild Challenge winners – first, second, and third – are determined by a vote of members.

A few pieces on display have gone on the road – entered in quilt shows further afield or chosen for traveling exhibits.

After you view the exhibit, cast your own vote for the “Crème de la Crème” and answer a few questions about your own quilting aspirations.

Help keep the Museum a place for all to share the joys and art of quilting.
