Framed Center/Medallion Quilts: History of a Style Exhibit
The American Quilt Study Group challenged its members to study an old quilt and make a new one based on what they learned. Twenty-five of the resulting quilts are on display at the museum until March 15.
Saturday, March 1 – 2 pm at the Museum:
Meet the Maker
Kathy Anderson will travel from White Salmon to talk about her medallion quilt and the English beauty that inspired it and her fascination with quilt history. She’ll bring several other examples of her artistry, then analyze some pieces from the Museum collection in a bed-turning. Afterwards, enjoy the Framed Centers exhibit and refreshments.
